Tessa aan de Stegge, the founder of Purpose Lab, did a presentation on Impact Travel on the yearly congress of Travel Media.

BACKGROUND

Travel Media is a Flemish office that helps tourists and destinations to perform better online. In honor of the anniversary edition of the Travel Media Congress, Purpose Lab was asked to perform a tailor-made reading on the theme of traveling in a more conscious and sustainable way.

APPROACH
Purpose Lab dove right into the latest developments. The presentation was formulated within the theme Travel as a force for good. After a summarization of the developments and recent researches, the practical examples were discussed. The audience of the Travel Media Congress consists mostly of marketing professionals of travel companies and representatives of regions and cities. That is why Tessa decided to specifically analyze and present a few cases of destinations and travel companies.

RESULT

The compact presentation of numbers, researches and successful initiatives made the visitors more loose and led to a lot of conversations during lunch and the workshops.

The Travel Media Congress brings 200 marketing professionals from the travel branch together every year. Tessa shared inspiring insights on impact travel at our congress. With a solid keynote she made the travel industry aware of the changes that are happening around us.
